Und die nächte Frage: Bekomme ich es hin, mit CUI eine Ansicht zu erstellen, so dass ich die Albumcovers der aktuellen Selektion (suche, filter..) angezeigt bekomme - und dann z.b. bei doppelklick auf ein Album dieses abgespielt wird.
Ich stell mir das so vor, dass man eben statt dem Text Artist/Album direkt das Coverbild sieht und damit browsen kann.

Du brauchst dazu extra Plugins.
Aber zum Beispiel beim Chronflowplugin werden immer alle Cover der kompletten Library angezeigt.

Da stellt sich die Frage wie du denn deine Cover abgespeichert hast. Ich benutze den Browser nicht, aber meistens liegt es daran.
der name entspricht immer "artist" - "album"
ausserdem habe ich bei einigen alben auf alum arts in den tags.

Also das Plugin richtet an User die in Grundzügen verstanden haben was das Titalformatting ist und wie man es benutzt.
Du musst mit Hilfe von Befehlen dir die Cover anzeigen lassen. Ich selbst habe das Plugin jetzt extra wegen dir installiert, um mir das ganze mal annzusehen.
Unter Draw steht, was du jeweils "malen" willst.Wenn du den Button Funktions anklickst, zum Beispiel mit $draw_image die Cover anzeigen lassen. Wie gesagt es ist schon für Leute die das Titleformatting verstanden haben. Ansonsten könntest du probieren dir aus Configs mit dem Browser dir eine entsprechende Datei zum Importieren heraussuchen.
Zum Beispiel bietet Kameleon sich da an:

Geh mal mit Rechtsklick auf den Graphical Browser --> "Settings" und schreib folgenden String ans Ende auf der Registerkarte "Draw":
$draw_image(3,3,$sub(%gb_width%,6),$sub(%gb_height%,6),$directory_path(%path%)\%artist% - %album%.jpg)
Damit solltest du deine Cover schon mal angezeigt bekommen.
Weiter kann ich dir nicht helfen.
Wie bereits erwähnt, nutze ich den Graphical Browser nicht und kenne die Funktionen nicht.
Hilfreich wäre aber noch, wenn du oben bei "Sort" z. B. %path_sort% oder %artist% - %album% eingibst, da die Cover sonst wild durcheinander angezeigt werden.

also ich muss dann wohl von den functions: $draw_image(x,y,width,height,path), einfügen. ehrlich gesagt, weis ich jetzt nicht wie ich als path angebe, dass meine cover immer so benannt sind: %artist% - %album%. ausserdem weis ich nich was ich da jetz noch für angebane für x,y,width,height machen muss und wo ich die zeile überhaupt einfügen muss bzw welche der oben stehenden ersetzt werden muss.
aus den codes im netz zu graphical browser bin ich leider nich schlau geworden.

Aja, habe diesen thread übersehen.
versuch mal unter dem Standardskript bei "Draw" in Graphical Browser Settings mal folgendes Skript einzugeben:

Wie Du siehst funktioniert das Ganze nur, wenn die Bilddateien in den Ordnern der Musikdateien sind und folder.jpg bzw. cover.jpg heißen.(sehr primitiv)
Du hast sie "artist" - "album" genannt, (warum auch immer?), schlecht!!!
Lässt sich in Windows aber massenhaft umbenennen.
@tedgo: Das mit %artist% - %album%.jpg kam mir auch in den Sinn, aber das funktioniert, glaube ich, nicht. Wie soll GB erkennen, welcher artist bzw.album gerade zu nehmen ist?
Tja, wo du sowas nachgucken kannst, kann ich dir auch nicht verraten, denn ich kenne keine Anleitung für den Graphical Browser und die Readme ist japanisch...
Aber wenn man sich ein bisschen mit Titleformatting auskennt, kann man die Funktionen und deren Bedeutung leicht erahnen.
Klick doch unten mal auf "Variables" und "Functions".
Da stehen alle Funktionen, die man anwenden kann (leider ohne Erklärung).
Habe mir nämlich jetzt auch extra noch mal den Graphical Browser angeschaut, den ich ja gar nicht brauche (habe ja in meiner Konfiguration Thumbnails der Cover in der Playlist).
Der obige String bedeutet:
$= steht für Funktion
draw_image= die auszuführende Funktion (hier: male ein Bild)
die folgenden vier Angaben sind: Abstand von links, Abstand von oben, Breite (hier gesamte zur Verfügung stehende Breite abzgl. doppeltem Abstand von links, damit das Bild zentriert ist), Höhe (hier gesamte zur Verfügung stehende Höhe abzgl. doppeltem Abstand von oben, damit das Bild zentriert ist)
und zuletzt der Pfad zum Bild.

Natürlich funktioniert das ;).
Ist ein ganz normaler String, wie man ihn auch in der ELPlaylist benutzen kann. Da wird ja auch automatisch dem Ordner aus dem sich der GB das Bild zieht, der %artist% zugeordnet.
Wäre auch zu blöd, wenn es nicht ginge, denn der TO hat seine Bilder so benannt ;)

Aha, an deinem String erkenne ich, dass im GB eine $eval()-Funktion existiert. Gar nicht blöd...

Man versteht zwar immer noch kein Wort, aber wenigstens hat man bekannte Buchstaben :D
Ich häng's trotzdem mal an, auch wenn es mir wie eine sinnlose Aneinanderkettung von Wörtern vorkommt (typisch Google-Translator eben...).
Aber wenn man es schon nicht versteht, hat man wenigstens was zu lachen.
Die Übersetzung Japanisch - Englisch sah auch nicht besser aus, allerdings sind hier wenigstens die "Options" nicht mitübersetzt.
Deshalb hänge ich die mal lieber auch mit an.
klingt beides recht lustig. wobei man mit der englishen wohl n bissl was anfangen denk ich. ich versuch mich ma n bisschen dran. aber ich denk ich werd gleichzeitigauch nochmal elplaylist angucken bevor ich das ganz abschreibe und eventuelle vorteile ignoriere.
Ich würde dir auch zur Englischen Übersetzung raten.
Die Deutsche ist unbrauchbar, da da einige Optionen mit ins Deutsche übersetzt wurden (z. B. "left" wurde zu "links", "right" zu "rechts").
Wenn man die Deutsche Übersetzung bei den Optionen angibt, funktioniert es nicht!
Ich habe die Deutsche auch nur angehängt, weil ich die Übersetzung so lustig fand :D
Hab mein Japanisch bemüht und übersetzt, nein im Ernst hat Keikonium in HA übersetzt. :D

Popup size is the upper limits, you can only set to smaller sizes.
%gb_width%,%gb_height% values are changed accordingly.
When width or height is 0 or less, popup won't be drawn.

Aus dem nie zuende geführtne Panel ui Tutorial:
ZitatX ist die horizontale Position im Fenster von links nach rechts in Pixel.
Y ist die Vertikale Position im Fenster von Oben nach unten in Pixel.
(Jeder der in Mathematik mit dem Koordinatenkreuz gearbeitet hat: es ist das Quadrant rechts unten, nur dass an der Y-Achse keine negativen Zahlen sind:

Jetzt fehlt noch die Größe des Panels. Der Startpunkt ist mit dem X und y schon festgelegt.
Width ist die Weite in Pixeln (also parallel zur X-Achse s.o.)
Height ist die Höhe in Pixeln (also parallel zur Y-Achse s.o.)
path bedeutet sozusagen die Ortsangabe also welches Bild gezeigt werden soll.
Bei mir ist das zum Beispiel:
$draw_image(1,1,100,100,E:\Eigene Dateien\Eigene Bilder\Cover2\%artist% - %album%.jpg)
Wenn du allerdings kein festes System hast, müsstest du codetechnisch was bauen, damit mehrere Optionen gecheckt werden.
